Insurance and Billing
Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Center accepts most major insurance. We will bill your insurance carrier; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage are between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them prior to your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays and deductibles.

Dr. Bortman is the best gastroenterologist that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He is down-to-earth, genuine, and truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen and is never patronizing. He made my first endoscopy (which I was admittedly nervous about) almost a pleasure! I wouldn't think of ever letting anyone else besides Dr. Bortman handle my gastroenterology needs. He is simply wonderful!

Wonderful, caring and compassionate doctor. This was our first visit and procedure with Dr. Ghaith. He was kind and explained everything. He has a great bed-side manner and made us very comfortable. The procedure was in the Troy office and was on time and quick. The front desk was friendly and efficient. The office is very well run. Would highly recommend Dr. Ghaith and his team.

I had to have my first colonoscopy today and was quite nervous! The entire staff and Dr. Canon took great care of me. Highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for a great GI!

The best GI practice in Michigan Dr. Gaith is a great Gastrointestinal Doctor. He is outstanding at his profession. Great bed side manners, and someone you can really trust with your GI problems. Dr. Gaith staff are wonderful and super nice. They try to fit you in for an appointment as quickly as possible, the best GI practice I have been to I have had 2 procedures in the past 8 months and they both went very well. I recommend everyone with colon and stomach issues to see this doctor, and you will never feel like you haven’t been taken care of if the wait time to see Dr. Gaith is long I see his PA, Jovan. He is amazing.
